Published on 25 February 2025, our study examines dual career support in European higher education institutions through the perspectives of student-athletes and university experts. It analyses survey responses from 321 student-athletes and 46 experts.
The study points to the importance of considering both groups’ views when developing support provision. Whether an institution offers support and how an athlete experiences it are different questions. The article sets out the methods, findings and limitations.
